This is my 4th Uscooter! I have had them for over 7 years now. I just sold the first one I ever bought with was the first model they came out with. I clocked over 3500 miles on it. Original battery and tires although I should of changed the tires. I upgraded to the booster + which is also a great scooter that I still have. I had zero issues over the past 7 years besides regular maintenance which is expected from the abuse nyc streets take on vehicles.
Last year I bought the GT model without drum brake or hand brake lever and was blown away. The bigger deck is a great feature for bigger guys. The GT flys and the range is so good I can go from Astoria queens all the way to Wall Street and back without ever worrying about battery level. I hit speeds of 28mph with ease everyday and people always stop and ask where I purchased and about the brand.
My wife loves her scooter as well and even after taking a spill “hit a really deep pot hole” she broke the led screen so I got to see how great customer service was. I emailed them and told them my issue. They walked me through every step on how to take apart and shipped me out a new screen. I had zero issues with install thanks to Scott helping me along the way.
This is not the cheapest scooter but it is by far the best out there. Cheap scooters last months not YEARS! I can’t wait for my newest GT to arrive with the drum brake. But I am loving the GT I have now!
I live in Oakland and have commuted to SF for more than 17 years. After buying this scooter, I can honestly tell you that I’ve gone from genuinely hating my commute, to looking forward to portions of it.
I did a ton of research, and ultimately ended up choosing this model. It’s combination of portability and high end performance is what attracted me at first and after owning it for about a month I can confirm that it was well worth the price.
