I bought this for my 11 year old, 100 pound daughter. She suffered from fibromyalgia and couldn’t do the old maual scooter type. So she can go for a walk with me in the park, and she won’t be so tired. It is easy to assemble, it can handle most of the hills in the park, some very steep hills it falls behind, but as long as she can run on it, it can still do it. If she wears heavy shoes, the soles of her feet will be a bit small, and her feet will be small. But we just learned to wear better-fitting shoes when performing this operation. I really enjoyed my shopping this time.
We bought this for our 7 year old son. He is kind of big for his age. He likes it but it could handle more power and a bigger size. We have this one for his friends to use and he now has next size up.
Have 6 and 7yr old boys. 6 yr old has been enjoying his for over a year now problem free (including all his friends abusing it as well). This time, got a second one, same model for the 7yr old and has had no issues. The speed is enough to keep them entertained but they love them so much I can see them wanting something faster in the near future. They have started a pretty big trend in the neighborhood! I had to get an adult one myself and all 3 of us have a blast cruising the neighborhood, going on adventures or riding to school. Biggest positives to these are the price and they work as advertised. NO ISSUES!
My 9 year old purchased this with his birthday money. We chose this one because it has a lot of great reviews and the specs are decent for the price. Unfortunately, however, the product detail at the time of purchase was incorrect. Says the scooter goes 10 MPH and 7.5 miles on a single charge but it’s actually 7.5 MPH (which I’m not sure I can agree with but I haven’t timed) and 4 miles on a single charge. Still a good item but deceiving info.
My sons absolutely adore this! It is easy to put together and comes with an easy-to-follow instruction book. It is easy control – all you have to do is run to start it and then step on button in the back to keep the speed and/or accelerate. To stop all you have to do is step on the brake on the back wheel. My son says that riding it is like flying. Overall, it’s very worth the value. (Tip: when your putting it together, put the handle bars on before attaching the steering pole to the wheel. That way itll be easier to attach.)
