Just got my Santa Monica. It’s a big bike, for a big guy. 6’1′ 250. Love it so far, it’s built well. The battery seems to be lasting way longer than I expected but I pretty much use peddle assist or nothing. I only ride on pavement, so the tires are a little load. Probably change them out for smooth later on.
I purchased this bike for my wife, who wanted to join me on some of my rides, especially since I purchased myself an e-bike. When I told the supplier I needed it by a certain date and time for my wife’s birthday, they went out of their way to ensure that it arrived in plenty of time.
Our family has owned 12 electric bikes over the past 6yrs and most of them have been from Nakto. However, I always favored my Pedego Interceptor because of the power and style. After being blown away by the performance and features on the Santa Monica, I decided to sell our old e-bikes and we got (2) of these Santa Monica’s. Hands down, the BEST bikes we’ve had. Very sturdy and extremely well-built and proportioned. The shocks work exceptionally well, making a very comfortable, smooth ride and going over bumps and curbs are a breeze. The best part is the on-board computer which has an speedometer, odometer, trip counter, timer, volt meter, power indicator, and the ability to customize the pedal assist and sensitivity levels. It literally comes with all the “bells and whistles”, like an electric horn and a high-powered LED light. The BEST part is that you can change the settings from a Class-2 to a Class-3.
I love riding my Santa Monica. It allows for an effortless cruise, and has countless riding options available on the display screen. It’s well-made, durable, fast and comfortable. I can use it to commute through streets/sidewalks, or use it to exercise.
My second Nakto bike. This bike is unbelievable lots of power lots of features! Everywhere I go people ask me where I got this bike. I love it! I recommend it highly!
